The most iconic Scotch and Japanese single malts will be auctioned in Singapore.
Asia’s first, professional online whisky auctioneer will be bringing collectors worldwide, the remarkable opportunity of owning several fine & rare whiskies which include stunning Karuizawa 1964 48 years which is a legendary 95/100 points whisky (whiskyfun.com scoring), this edition was highlighted in “Whisky Rising” (guide to the finest Japanese whiskies) as one of the best Japanese single malts ever released! One of the most beautiful Japanese single malts, truly unique Karuizawa 1965 50 years Haiku will be offered as well - each bottle from this edition is unique, each decanter is decorated with different Haiku poem printed on the glass. Those poems was written by the nineteenth century poetry master Masaoka Shiki. 24 poems illustrate the different periods of the solar year, the 24 stages of the annual cycle of life in nature of Japan. This particular bottle is named Daikan which accords to Jauary heavy colds. Two bottles of Karuizawa 1981 35 years old City Edition bottles bottled for Wealth Solutions will also be offered - collectors will have a chance to compete for Sapporo and Nagoya to complete the sets.
Aside from the prized Karuizawa editions, Japanese whisky connoisseurs will have a rare chance to add to their collections another Japanese whisky icon - a bottle of Hakushu 25 years Limited Edition which is really hard to come by nowadays. The auction list will include Macallan 1946 52 years old and Macallan 40 years old put up for the savvy Macallan connoisseurs out there.
